GC for Mom in India: List of docs required to send to NVC (National Visa Center)

Hello,

I filed a GC (I-130) for my mom and its was approved a few days ago. She is NOT adjusting status within USA, but will be getting the GC in India. The next steps are that application will be sent to NVC which will ask both me (petitioner) & my Mom (beneficiary) for some documents. I'm waiting to hear back from NVC. From my side, I know I'll have to file I-864 (affidavit of support) and financial supporting documents.

My questions:
1. Are there some common documents that the NVC regularly requires for beneficiaries from foreign countries (India in this case)
2. Will my Mom require Police Clearance Certificates from all states/areas she has resided in India since birth?
3. Will she require a clearance certificate from the India Passport department as well?
 
For folks who are actually interested in this topic and not in crawling through profile history to ask useless questions, here is what I've found:

1. Common documents that NVC might ask for (in addition to what is mentioned here: https://travel.state.gov/content/tr...visa-process/interview/interview-prepare.html )
- Current Foreign Passport
- Current PCC (For case in India, PCC can be requested from the Indian Passport Office: https://portal2.passportindia.gov.in/AppOnlineProject/online/pccOnlineApp )
- Marriage Certificate
- Birth Certificate + Translation

When you post something, expect members to refer to those posts at a future time. That's how many of us get to provide a fuller amount of advise. Never refer to others' posts as useless. At least we're volunteering our time, unlike some others who only come to these sites for their visa/immigration needs and disappear until the next visa question.

Ok so you repeated the link I posted, detailed some of what was in it, and posted a different link to PCC than what is linked from the first page. I’m not entirely sure what you added there but it may help those without patience to reference an official page, although they may miss out some important information by trying to shortcut.
