gap between 2 jobs on h1 transfer- very very urgent!!!

hey guys,

my current employer is terminating me on nov 30th and the new company wants me to join on 11th dec....however the new company will file my h1 transfer before 30th nov....

does that mean i am in trouble?


please clarify asap!!!!

------No, if H1 transfer reaches USCIS before the past employer revoke the H1 petition by writing to USCIS.
once the H1 petition of new employer reach USCIS you can join the new employer

Hi Ginnu,

Can you please get this clear to me:

I am with Company A till 30th Nov

Company B files a transfer before 30th nov

I join Company B on Jan 20th.

So from Dec to Jan I am enemployed. Does this create issues?
