Gurus pl help - G28

Gurus,

My I -485 details:
I-140 approved,
I-485 ND DT 11/20/2001,
Replied to RFE and USCIS received on Sept 2 2003.

Changed job this week. Same job title and duties.

I am planning to submit AC21 within a 2 month time from now. My old lawyer will no longer support my case. The question is should I request my present attorney to submit G48 immediately or wait and submit along with AC21. My concern is, hopefully not, but if I get one more RFE it will be sent to my old lawyer. Are there any issues with this?

Please help.

Thanks,

You can file G28 separately and immediately. I would suggest sending the AC21 letter later.

Goget,

I'd agree with jaxen - file the G28 seperately and immediately and your AC21 later.

Meanwhile, answer to your specific question - what happens when an RFE comes up again during this transistion - not to worry - once the G28 takes place, your old attorney will share with any other info he receives relating to your file( in normal circumstances) - even otherwise you can track online, and your new attorney should also be able to check with the CIS. So that shouldnt be an issue.

Good Luck!
