Consolidated Paperwork approach.
I have seen lots of people getting confused and asking about paperwork in the forum times and again. There is ample documentation available on the topic, still people get into small issue.
In last couple of weeks, I recd calls from some members about documentation aspect of application. I tried to find out in my old links, most of those do not work. So this time I am providing hyperlink and content of the hyperlink, so that even if hyperlink is gone, we will still have something to refer to.

USCIS Service Centers: National Information
The information below applies to processing at all four USCIS Service Centers.
Documents Not in English:
All documents that are in a language other than English must be submitted with a translation. The person translating the document must certify that the translation is complete and accurate and that he/she is competent to translate from the foreign language into English.
Direct Mail Cases:
Generally, the following applications and petitions must be filed, by mail, at a Service Center. However, you may be eligible to file some of these forms electronically.

I-102 Application for Replacement/Initial Nonimmigrant Arrival-Departure Document.
I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé(e)
I-129 Petition for a Nonimmigrant Worker
I-129S Nonimmigrant Petition Based on Blanket L Petition NOTE: Visa exempt beneficiaries currently abroad only
I-130 Petition for Alien Relative (except when filed in conjunction with an I-485)
I-131 Application for Travel Document. If applying for Refugee Travel Document or Reentry Permit only. To apply for Advance Parole file at the USCIS Office or Service Center where your Application for benefits is pending.
I-140 Immigrant Petition for Alien Worker
I-360 Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant. NOTE: I-360's for Amerasians and Special Immigrant Juveniles are filed at the Local Offices. Battered spouse petitions are filed only at the Vermont Service Center.
I-485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status (Some types of adjustment applications should be filed at the District Office or at a specific Service Center. For detailed filing information, please see the Forms Entry Page for Form I-485)

I-539 Application to Extend/Change Nonimmigrant Status
I-589 Application for Asylum and Withholding of Deportation Fee
