My spouse's online status changed to Testing and Interview, while mine still remains in RFE. Thanks to some of your posts, I called up FBI and the lady told me that my finger prints have been rejected and I should go for FP again. What will happen now? Will they send a second FP notice? Will mine and my spouse's processing times be different now?

There is a cream or lotion you can rub on your hands for a few days or weeks to improve your chances of successful fingerprinting. Hopefully another poster will mention what is and how long you need to use it.

If you end up with two results of fingerprints rejected as unidentifiable, then USCIS will require Police Clearance Letters for every jurisdiction you have lived in from the present back to the begining of your statutory GMC period.

From "the present", I mean: IF you filed your N-400 when you lived in suburb "A" then moved a short distance to suburb "B" but still in the same USCIS office jurisdiction then that would mean an additional Police Letter. Probably not an issue in your case. If you moved to another USCIS jurisdiction that would be an additional issue but apparently not an issue in your case.

I have been living in the same house for the past 5.5 years, so that should not be the issue. Should I ask for Criminal check record? Is there any specific name for the report? Thanks for the reply!!

It seems like every Police Station has their own way of doing things, it all depends on the local procedure.

That is in the U.S. and abroad, if anyone should happen to have any long absences from the U.S. during their statutory period.
