I think it doesn't matter for the dependants since we are the primary?? (for my wife the FP received date is 10/27)

Lost me again :). Are you talking about the 10/23/03 scans? There is only 1 case in there with a date of 10/20/04...?

ETA

I see atleast 5 cases with 10/20 with same status in coulmn C

But at the same time original scan date is not equal to real FP rcvd date. In my case 11/08 is the LUD (when the status actually changed to FP rcvd) but within the status it says "on October 20 we rcvd the FP results...."

I guess I'm being dense today 'cos I don't follow this either :).

My FP results were received at the VSC on 09/15/04. That's when the message changed, that's the "FP Recvd" date. Why would it be anything else?

(Sure, my LUD changed on 11/30/04 but that has nothing to do with the fingerprints being received...)?

So it's simple, for your the FP rcvd date happens to coincide with LUD. So let me see if I have any 9/15 FP rcvd date.

Whole idea behind this is that probably USCIS after rcvg FP results assign it a rcv date and distribute to different adjudicators along with whole file and that is why we are seeing this random pattern of approval

OK, you're looking at the 10/25/03 scans. Yes, for those cases, the original date / status was "Received". At some point (on or slightly after 10/20/04), I scanned the cases again and their fingerprints had been received and columns B, C and D were updated accordingly. The status for those cases hasn't changed since then which is why they are still showing "FP Recvd".

The problem that I mentioned in my earlier post is that once these cases are approved (i.e. in a future scan), the data in columns B, C, D is overwritten with the new status (i.e. I'm only tracking the original status). For all we know, there are bunches of other cases with 10/20/04 and "FP Recvd" which have since been Approved or Transferred or have an RFE etc. This (in the way my scans are set up) would overwrite the old "FP Recvd" status so we can't look at the data in Columns B / C / D to look for trends.

We can however use the data in columns E and F since this isn't ever going to change.

Not neccessarily true as we all, in this forum, have seen cases where derivative got approved and primary is still pending and this FP rcvd theory might be an answer to why it is that

Fp received 11/04

That;s what I would think. That your file is groupped in FP rcvd on 11/15 finally.

I checked in my list, I see all cases on 11/15 FP rcvd still showing "FP rcvd/Resumed"...so hang on, they will probably touch it soon

Mine and spouse Fp recd 11/04 since than LUD changed for both 11/24 and 11/29 and only for me 12/09,12/10,12/14

What do u say?
