Got FP notice for I485. When we go for FP do they ask us to fill any forms
or ask any questions. If yes, what kind of questions do they ask.
Please let me know.

Phulan,

Make sure you take your photo id and/or your passport. Theye wont ask you any questions. They will ask you to fill one form which would be returneed to you whene you leave the office.

Thanks

The forms

Phulan,

The form is just a basic one where you are asked to fill in your personal information such as birthdate, city of birth, current address etc. They use this form to enter your information into the computer station that the FP is done on. The memory is very fresh because I just got done with my FP yesterday.

We have recently moved to Texas austin from NC. The address as changed. Yet to inform USCIS. So, in that case what address should I give them? Will it pose any problem? Let me know.

Thanks for the help.

Hi Phulan,

a quick question - did yr LUD change when u got FP notices and did you get emails saying FP is scheduled or just got FP notices in mail - we are awaiting FP notices and wanted to know mode.

My lawyer got the FP notice. No change in LUS or anything. Just FP notice saying your FP is scheduled on so and so date and so and so center..thats all.
Even we were waiting for an email or LUD change but nothing of that sort happened. I think you will receive a copy of the FP notice and also your lawyer.

Good luck to you.

LUD change

I just received my FP notice also for Charlotte. My LUD did not change.

Anybody has any idea, if I can go early. The Appointment I have is for 25th, and I had planned a trip on the 25th to NYC. Can I go earlier, like on the 23rd to have FP's done?

Early FP

ab kya karun,

The possibility of an early FP depends on the office you go to. Some offices allow it while others don't. I know that the Atlanta office used to allow early FPs until this year. I tried in January and was turned away but several people were allowed to give them last year. There is really nothing to lose so I would give it a try at your local office. They might let you do it.

FP received for I-485 RD 08/16/2004

Today My attorney informed me that she received the finger print notice from USCIS. It has a notice date of 02/09/2005. FP is scheduled for March 4th, 2005. FP will be in Charlotte and I will not be going for an early FP.

Looks like the FPs are being processed for August, '04 filers.

Where did you find that August 04 filers are being processed

My I-485 ND is August 16th, 2004 and I got my FP today. Hence I am guessing that USCIS is picking up August, 04 applications now.

Thank you deep23.
I too got my FP notice and my I-485 is Sep, 2004. I am still waiting for I-140 approval and No LUD changes.

Hi Guys,

I want to know whether you all received case# for your FP notices? I received case# only for my EAD,AP,I140 and I485 applications. Can we monitor FP case?

EB3 PD Sept.2002
I140 Oct.8 2004 Approve date Feb. 18 2005
I485 Oct.8 2004 AD????????
FP ??????????????

There is no case number for FP

atllab,

FP notices do not have any case numbers associated with them. There is no way to track them. This makes the whole process all the more frustrating.

regards,
