FP question-please respond

Hello:

Can FP be done at designated application support center before the dates specified in the FP notice? please respond.

I went with my notice before my date and showed the guard my flight ticket as evidence that I would be away on my scheduled FP date. He said I had to come back within 2 weeks of my scheduled date. He wouldn't let me do it then as it was still 4 weeks before my date.

Both my spouse and I did our FP around a month earlier. No questions asked!! We just showed our FP notice and they let us do it.
So, it depends on the place you go. Ours was in Miami, FL
 
It does really depend on the place, person (and his mood). I did my FPs before the date (don't remember how long before), and the gaurd let us in - one reason was that there were almost no applicants that day.
A friend of mine went to the same office after a few weeks, and the gaurd didn't let them in.
Bottomline - give it a try. See if you can go on a day when there's lesser number of people.
 
Depends on the place. Here in Dallas ASC you can do it, but not in Ft Worth ASC. So check with your friends who may have gone there before to see if they would let you do it or not.
 
I would try .. but

we went on the day the form asked us to go to the Dallas ASC. It went smoothly. But I saw couple who were sitted beside us was called and told that they had to come on the day on the notice.
But personally I do not see the advantage of going early -- as the 15 months start ticking after they have receive the results -- and I am not sure I will be done 15 months.

godotwaiting, in case of Gkhan, this is probably not the 1st time for his FP.
he is the oldest case on the forum ( april 01).

Gkhan, which application service center do u have to go for FP?
No harm in trying to go in early.

I know, at the center that i went to ( Alexandria), they only take FPs for people who have appt for that partifuclar day.
