He says I qualify for EB2 row (Bac degree of 4 yrs as per equivalency in WES and 6.5 yrs experience in my specialty domain). He said he can do TN to GC very fast, something like 1.5 yrs to 2 yrs. I need to renew TN 1st feb but he even said he can get me to a point where no renewal will be needed if I dont travel out of US.

I listen what the immigration gurus here have to say. Please talk. Because in this matter, some friends, some aquaintances, this new laywer (the company lawyer I will unhook tomorrow) and you guys are all I've got.

Thanks

Carmen

What your lawyer is probably suggesting is that he would get you the EAD so you don't need to renew the TN anymore. The time frame, as far my understanding goes, for obtaining EAD +AP on EB2 is some where between 6-9 months but it could always vary:

PERM (about 3-6 months) + 3 months wait for EAD (after filing I-140/1485 Concurrently)

sabih's time line is about right. This will probably mean a decision sometime in November whether it is better to wait to file I-485 until after you get your new TN or not.

Probably, you will need to premium process your TN in October , then after you get it file your I-485 etc and then hold tight in US until you get your EAD and AP.

After that, actual GC can take any length of time, it doesn't really matter.

Thanks

Thanks Folks, I appreciate your collaboration, is like gold to me.

Thanks thanks thanks

Hi Carmen123,
Can you please be kind enough to pass on this lawyers Name and address as I have a TN as well and intend to start my GC process soon. and I have had no luck in finding a trutworthy lawyer yet. Also what is your country of chargeabiity? Mine is India so if we go ahead with EB2, will the process to get EAD & AP be the same? Is your Bachelor degree from the foreign country a 12+3 yrs or 12+4 yrs?
