for OCT and NOV filers who pass 540 days

Letter to BCIS

(If at all a letter is prepared) please change
"applications as early as October, 2001" to
"applications as early as SEPTEMBER, 2001"

:(

Yes, let's send this letter to Mr. Khanna individually first and see if he is willing to send it to VSC.

The major thing is let us know where is our case,
the 800 number should tell us more information, at least let you think you can control some part of your case processing, not sit in the dark waiting forever.

I think BCIS's intention of using this 800 # is to make the processing darker, they don't want you know where your case is, and the 4 weeks response time to your inquiry will further discouraging people to call this 800 #. So don't expect they will let you know more.

EAC details ?

Should we provide the EAC number when we send the request to
Rajiv Khanna ? or should we do that when we sign the petition ?

Also can anyone think of any risk in doing so ?

Thanks.

PS: my only goal at sending the EAC # with the petition is - if it is heard they may look at the cases listed and we may be just in luck of getting approved faster.

Petition for Delayed I-485 Cases to VSC

Hi All:

I would like to take the lead to ask Rajiv to send a letter to
VSC on our behalf. As a matter of fact, I've already sent it
to him via my personal email. It seems that he's willing to help.

I'd like to take the lead. However, I have techinical difficulty
in accessing this web forum. I don't know how to collect people
who cases were filed in October, 2001, so that BCIS will know
that we are real!

I also don't know how to collect signatures. If anyone can help me
out, I would like to take the lead! We should fight for our
freedom and equality!

Clueless123,

Thank you for your effort!

I just got a reply from Mr. Khanna, he is going to set up a web petition for us, let's wait for this. Thank you, Mr. Khanna.

Petition Letter

Hi Guys:

I just spoke to Rajiv's office. They are working on a petition letter
to be sent to the BCIS VSC on our behalf. This will help speed
up the process of our delayed cases.

According to his assistant, a link to the petition letter will be
ready in a week or so on both "immigration.com"
and "immigrationportal.com". Please be alerted!
Sign the letter there before it's too late!

Check these two web-sites in 5-7 days! This is our only hope!

At the same time, I'll work on the letter as well. I want to add
a section about the f***ing security check. What it is, why it
has to be done in the dark, why it holds back our innocent
people, etc.

Any more ideas welcome!

I can feel your pain.

I have experienced the 9 months I-140 freeze(2 years ago?), last years 4-months I-485 freeze, now it is the forever security check waiting.

INS had very bad manegement, we need to fight for fair treatment.

what all u people r doing is really appreciable & speciall rajiv for his help through his website........I filed in NOV & still waiting, I too want to fight against injustice of BCIS .

Suggestion about Commenting on 800 #

Good suggestion. I'll add a comment about the 800 number
in the letter. Also please review the comment about
the security check that I intend to include in the petition letter.

-----------------------------800 Number---------------------------------
Recently, the VSC has cancelled its regular inquiry phone line.
Individuals have to call an 800 number to talk to a live
representative.

According to the feedback from many individuals, this phone
line is a message forwarding system. They would relay a
message to a corresponding service center. The service center
will normally get back to the individual in about a few weeks.

This relay system keeps the people distant from the source.
It is inefficient, evasive, and error-prone due to the nature
of a message relay system.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------

------------------------------Security Check---------------------------
If every individual who applies for an adjustment of status needs
to undergo a security check, the procedure of a security check
should be a public policy.

Among the people who share similar backgrounds, some have
got their approvals, and some haven't. The only difference is that
they have not passed the security check.

On behalf of these affected individuals, we are interested in
knowing what comprises a security check, and why the
individuals are not given detailed information about a failed
security check, as a result, they cannot provide necessary
information to related agencies.

When an applicant has to do another fingerprint due to a delay
on the part of the BCIS, their applications should be given a
much higher priority. However, that is not the case.

I think you should say. "The service center will normally write a letter to the individual, usually are just a print out of the online status from BCIS website. We would prefer more helpful information, such as if background check has passed, if it has been assigned to an officier, and if it is, when. "

For people suffering long time waiting, BCIS should provide an expedition service to process the case in days, We don't care to pay 1000$ more, just want it done.

You didn't point out the message back from service center is useless. that's the whole point to send the petition.

Now I'm missing those stupid VSC IIOs, they are at least saying
some words we can understand.

I personally not for adding this 800 # request in the petition.

1. We all know talking to IIO is pretty much useless anyway, it just makes you feel u get some "information", and they keep giving you misleading hopes like " you should hear something in 30-60 days", so what's the point of bring them back?

2. if you ask too much, you lost the focus. I think the purpose of this petition is to push for expedite the delayed processing caused by the security check. If this delay issue is resolved, there is no need of talking to IIOs

Just my 2 cents.

Can't you also emphasize that BCIS's goal is to eliminate backlog, but its service is more disappointing than INS was. The phone service is terrible. The delay is longer. And too many RFEs
and transfers which doens't make sense. The more they delay our case, the more RFE they need to send out, the more workload they have, the more delay for later case. If they keep this snail speed. everybody is going to be messed up by them.
Plus they can change target month from 18 to 19 so easily. Next month when you call, they can say target is 20 months now, call one month later. We need let those pigs know our pain and we're human too, not imported working machines for capitalists. We need have our normal life back.

I remember last year we all signed a petition against the B-2 Visa 1 month thing and that get cancelled. Let's push all law firms we know.
