Folks,
Just wanted to share this with all of you who have filed on and after June 2003 and got FP done between 10-20-2004 to 10-30-2004, my self filed in sep 2003 and di my FP on cot 28th.


1. Every one in this class who did there FP done, got there status updated
to FP recd on 11-04-2004, including me.
2. Most of us again got LUD change and that happaned on 11-09-2004,
again including me.
3. I feel that this may be specific to a group of people and LUd change on
NOv 4th and NOV 9th seems to be work of a Batch update job.
4. I t could be that this is request for name check for all of us.
5. couple of guys got approved also though.
6. So do you guys think that we have a reason to be excited because LUD change nov 9th again or you guys also feel same as me, may be we can be in touch with each other to track the progress, is it a good idea?

Would love to get few comments.

I have similar but slightly different pattern. However, my understanding is that now a days CIS sending First FP notice only after name check done by FBI. I received the email from FBI name check, in which that states that it was done much earlier. So, I think this is some good news on the way....
MD Rockville, curiousGeorge, mirium99, hrithikroshan11, manik_baasha, joyd, kmunna, kamvp, indianexpert,pujar, skotha, ocean001, Red_Card, casio, and many more are in similar situation.

Please include yourself if you are on the same boat or correct the list for someone got approved.

I am in same situation like you. FP1 done on 10/21, LUD change on 11/4 and then again on 11/8

FP1 scheduled on 12/10/2004: done on 10/29/2004
LUD: 11/04/2004 for FP received/resume
LUD: 11/08/2004 for nothing
 
so you guys think this lud change means something? one of my co worker did FP on same day as me(oct 28th) from hartford, uscis got his FP result on nov 4th as all of us but LUD is not changed after that, lets see if his also change.


My guess is that next LUd change could be after 10 days atleaste.

I haven't got FP notice yet. LUDs changing but no change in status.

Can you find the list of people who have filed in Sep 03 and not received FP yet?
 
Gave FP on 10/30 . LUD on 11/04(only for primary) No LUD changes after that...
FBI name check was completed in Feb 2004.

I485- ND 10/02/2003.
 
My 485 ND is Nov but I got FP1 done on 09/14. I don't know if I should belong to this pacth or not.

Some rumors says there are two groups in INS. One is handling cases < 04/2003 and the other is handling between 04/2003 and 10/2003. If the rumor is true, noone is handling my case in INS. :mad: But I also see some 12/2003 approval recently.
 
LUD Changed only once

Did FP on 10/20. LUD updated and message says FP received and processing resumed. Is this same as the situation singh is describing? What is FBI name check and when is it done.

Done 1FP Oct 25, 2004
LUD changed on Oct 28, 2004 (me, spouse, child)
applied for EADs for spose+child on Oct 28, LUD for EAD changed on Nov 5, same message

i filed in april 2003, did 1st FP in June, 2003. Just finished my 2nd FP in Sep 2004, saw several LUD changes.
If a couple of LUD changes can make u so exciting, then I should have gone to heaven.

You may be right and but you may be wrong too, there have been folks on the forum who got 1 or 2 LUD and got approve/RFE, couple of folks in my company got the same deal, they did FP and in 3 weeks they got approved(2 of them) other one got RFE.

With all respect, you may be right but you may not be right too, lets seee what happans.

Don't worry, chubby or chubbo sinhg, you are not the lucky one. People with RD of late 2001 or 2002 are still waiting, be considerated for those folks. First in first out, if you were those folks, how would you feel?

If LUD changes ( no message change however ) once or twice, after FP case resumed message, 90% chances are that you will be approved < 7 days or around 10th, 20th or 30th days. Many people have been approved recently on this pattern ( 15 in my company :) ) Theory over here is that case has been assigned to an officer. And as per ETA-GC if this is a "easy" case ( same job, same address or a close AR11 i.e. no corss country state change etc. & lawyer was careful and submitted all papers ) chances are very high.

I did the FP on 10/30/04 and 485 status changed to FP recieved on 11/4, no change after that. :(
 
MD_rockville may be right my friend whose ND 10/2002 was approved on 11/8/04.

His LUD change week before two time 11/2,11/3 and approved 11/8.

Agreed, I also know few people who got there FP done and got approved in very quick time, 2 of them are from my company another guy from my company got RFE.

THOUGH IT IS CLEAR THAT IT MAY NOT HAPPAN WITH EVERY CASE and as some one just said that "I am not one of those lucky", If i am not then I am not, doesn't matter but would not harm to discuss something.
