first time travel out of US

We got our GC last February, 2005 and we plan to visit our home country in Nov, 2005. Aside from the green card and passport, are there any other papers we need to bring so we could re-enter US?

Why he need to carry the lawyers phone#? What problem do you anticipate?

I dont have a lawyer so what should I carry other than GS and PP?

This is worthless advice. Not worth even two cents. Why sould someone have problems re-entering if they have a valid GC and passport and no other violations.
