What an amazing journey and unique experience to become USC. I still remember when i got my H1 visa from American consulate in Islamabad and early shock waves when started working at high paced Wall Street. Witnessed 9/11 from 60 Wall Street, since then i have seen many seasons change, snow storms, beautiful east cost beaches and hot weather of Texas. After 9 long years, today ---it feels special to become a US citizen and very first from my family "first immigrant"- All in all, it's worth the ride.
I have lived an American dream, know people from different part of the world, best and with different languages, cultures, religions but very human-- so much in common only in this Great country- Soooooooooo much credit go to founding father's likes of Thomas Jefferson to facilitate a constitution and frame work of Great Republic - America.

This forum in THE best!!! Thanks to Mr. Khanna for his vision and all those who contribute and share their experiences, would like to mention Bobsmyth for his effort- Comforting to find that you are not the only straggler out there but have other in the same/similar situation.

World is a finite place so live in peace, harmony and we have so much in common then what separates us as humans- I feel America attracts the brightest and the best, and then retaining them by celebrating their achievements.

New Humble but Proud USC.

Thanks for sharing those inspiring words - I think we can all identify with the long journey, and like you said, in the end it is totally worth it to be a part of this great country.

Congratulations :D

Congratulations! Please continue to work for immigration reform as a USC.
There are still thousands of us who got H1 about the same time you did but who are still waiting to get our GC.
Nonetheless, I am happy for you!

Congratulations! Good Luck..
