Fingerprints Tracker - VSC

After jan 1st, 2005 (vsc)

Anyone got fingerprint notice after jan 1st, 2005, please post (vsc).. thanks

Anyone on the same boat?

Hi, no FP notice yet, which starts to concern us... :(

EB-3
140/485 ND: 6/04
140 AP: 10/04
485 TD: 10/04

I don't think anybody with ND April 04 and further have received any FP notices .. hopefully FP notices for those should start soon ..

Hi,

It would be good Idea to have a Excel Spread Sheet only for FPs tracking , as it would ease the tracking process, to know which RD's are getting the FP's.

Thanks

VSC is probably delaying FP on purpose

Looking at the long delays for getting the first FP notice, I think that VSC has started delaying first FPs purposely so as to avoid the 2nd FP. For most cases the FBI clears the FP check in a matter of weeks. Therefore, I think that VSC has started issuing first FP notices just a few months before the estimated I-485 adjudication date.

This is my hypothesis, but if it is true there are two benefits:

(1) No need to do 2nd FP
(2) First FP notice would indicate that USCIS is close to adjucating your I-485 (in a few months)

We need to carefully track the timedifference bewteen first FP and I-485 adjucation date, to see if there is any correlation there.

Its an excellent idea to start an excel sheet to do the tracking.

In my previous post I mentioned it will be nice to find a correlation between the first FP notice date and the 485 adjucation date.

I looked through the excel sheet tracker at:

ImmigrationPortal Forums > USA Immigration Issues > Immigrant Visas (Green Cards) > I-140 Issues > Vermont Service Center I-140 > >>>>>Tracker, I-140, Vermont Service Center<<<<< 2004 Consolidated Tracker ONLY (140/EAD/AP/FP/485)

And sure enough there is a strong correlation between the time difference between the first FP notice and the 485 approval date. Based on 8 to 10 EB2 records, it seems that USCIS consistently sends the first FP notice about 2 months before 485 approval. There are only one or two other records in the tracker that differ from this observation.

So looks like it is good news in a sense. Getting first FP notice means that I485 adjucation is likely just 2 months away.

I completely agree with your observation. That's the trand going on.
Once you get the FP done. Wait approx 2 months to get approved.

Hi

May be this theory doesn't work for me

FP on 18 Nov 2004
FP results received and case resumed on 29 Nov 2004 (LUD updated with message change on 30 Nov 2004)

LUD changed on 21 and 22 Dec 2004 with no message change

Today is 14 Jan 2005 and considering 15, 16 and 17 Jan 2005 are holidays
makes me conclude that my case is not approved in 2 months from FP date

hi senbabe
I think u will get approved before January end as I see many concurrent files around our date getting approved

I am unlucky because mine is a non concurrent case

I thought I wud get approved in January but looks like I have to wait a long time for that joyous moment

Look at my case

Guys my details are given below.

VSC:
PD: 15-Oct-2001
I-140 Approved - May2004
ND: 15-Aug-2003
RD 26-Aug-2003
Got EAD and APs twice
FP ??????????

I don't know what’s the trend going on, its kind of hard to predict anything for me, it just seems like I am the chosen unlucky one.
And also the immigration web sites are not enough informative to make any assumptions.

Any way just let me know what u guys think about my case.

-thx
