Finished FP 09/25/2004

Hi Guy's

Finished First FP today 09/25/2004.

I485 RD 06/26/2004
ND 07/09/2004

Waiting I485 Approval.

- VA_Mclean.

First FP completed on 9/25

140/485 ND - Jan 29th , 2004

140 Approved - June 28th, 2004

First FP received on Sept 14th.

Although first FP is scheduled for 10/23, I had it done on 9/25 at SanJose ASC without any problem.

FP1 notice recd for Nov 03 I485

Received FP1 notice for myself and spouse, scheduled for 11/9/04. No change in LUD/status/etc, or on BCIS site (my portfolio). Did not receive any email notification. Got notice in mail at my home address. Attorney also got notification.

Question - Can I get this done before the scheduled date in New Jersey, since I am planning to travel to India in November? What is the procedure? Do I need an appointment, or is it some kind of walk-in? I read some posts which mention walk-ins on wednesdays and saturdays (which day is better?). Any details would be greatly appreciated.

No FP yet

My ND is 09/03/2003 @ VSC. I have not received my finger prints. Any one like me or it is reason to concern and call.

I appreciate if any one lets me know.

Thanks

I am in the same boat too

Hi,
Our notice date is 9/30/2003 too. Concurrent filing, I-140 approval July 16th. No FP yet. Reading the posts, I am assuming FP depends on the local office we fall into. Ours is Philadelphia. I just applied for 2nd EAD, I hope this triggers the FP.

Thanks,
GC_Kaavaali.

need advice

Hi guys,

I need advice from people on this forum. I filed my 485 in jun 2003 and was approved in aug 2004, But i filed 485 for my wife and daughter in jan 2004 (they were in india when i filed my 485). NO FP yet. I filed for AP for wife and daghter last month and was approved already. no LUD change on 485. My question is that my wife and daughter are planning to go to india for alteast six months. can i postpone the FP date for six months (if i get it immediately after they leave). Please post if anybody have postponed their finger print dates.

thakns in advance

FP question? Please help

My I-485 ND is Jan 20th 2004. I changed my employer after
6 months. My new lawyer is now representing me and he has filed
my AC-21.

I am worried that the FP notice might go to the old lawyer
and I might now even know about it.

When FP Notice is sent by USCIS will they update the case status on-line saying the FP notice is sent.?
Will the FP notice sent to me or only sent to the lawyer?
should I contact my old lawyer and ask him to tell us when the FP
notce is sent to them?

I think FP is sent to both you and your lawyer. And you would also see the change in online status.

Once you have filed AC-21, all future corespondences will be sent to the new lawyer.

Guys who havent received FP notices after 1 year of applying for 485:

I see that ppl who apply for 485 in VSC don't get their FP notice fast, but if you live in VSC region but apply for 485 at NSC you get FP fast. Is my obversation right? My labor was approved in MT and so my 140 and 485 was filed at NSC. But I got my FP notice from VSC coz I live in MD.
Ppl who have applied for 485 at VSC: If it is more than a year and you still havent received your FP notice, have you tried contacting them? What is their reasoning?
I've seen in other forums that ppl who applied for 485 in VSC are the ones who have their FP delayed for several months. I'm hoping to get some logic out of this.
If VSC is overloaded how come I got my FP notice earlier than many of you? I've seen this happening for ppl applying in the last 3-6 months. Anyone offer any plausible explanations?

My FP notice

I485 - ND 07/11/03
FP done 9/28/04
Called FBI and INS has received the FP report
But INS site not updated.

Just though of posting this FYI...

Few of my friends with RD in Mar 2004 have got FP1 and few of
them have already done it...so hang in there and u r on the way
if ur RD <= Mar 2004.

First Fingerprint Notice Received

Hi All
I just received my First Fingerprint Notice. Below are the details:

Labor Substitution/ I-140 approved Jan 2004/ Non concurrent/ VSC
I-485/EAD/AP
RD: 24 Feb 2004
ND: 27 Feb 2004
EAD1/AP1 Approved: July 2004
First Fingerprint Notice Received: 4 Oct 2004
First Fingerprinting scheduled: 18 Nov 2004

Question: How can we do early fingerprinting.

Any advice is appreciated.

FP postpone

I have to postpone my FP appointment as I won't be in town on date of appointment. If I opt for reschedule when will I get my next appointment. Since I am going to postpone, is there a risk of my GC application getting rejected. Please advise

Thanks
Matador
