Fingerprints Tracker - VSC

FPs for myself and my wife were scheduled on the same day as the day we were leaving. So we went 3 weeks before the appt for an early FP. We were told that we have 90 days from the date of appt.
I would advise to go to your scheduled office and talk to them about the issue. They would then advice you accordingly.

Got FP notices for me and my spouse, I received FP on sep 3rd 2004 and my husband received a week earlier. our Date is oct 14th 2004.
 
Received Newark Fingerprint notice

Date set for 10/19 at Newark 12pm. I140 Approval date was 6/15/04 and fingerprint notice received on 9/9/04.

wife (dependent) received FP notice on 9/1/04, scheduled on 9/15 8am.
I received notice on 9/9/04, scheduled on the same day, same hour.
 
Friends,
My LUD got updated on 09/16. However, my spouse's LUD not yet updated.

Status updated to "On September 15, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

Does any one know what are the next stages in the I-485 processing (other than waiting)?

reschedule FP in Brooklyn USCIS (NY)

My wife missed her 2nd fingerprint in Brooklyn Center (NY) when we were on vacation, we sent the reschedule for her on Sept. 8 to Brooklyn, and received the reschedule notice yesterday (Sep. 19). They simply mailed back that original notice, with an addditional letter saying that she need go there within 87 days from the notice date. This notice was mailed from New York city local center since our I-485 cases were transferred there from VSC.

I am new to this, so please excuse my ignorance. My center is VSC. 140 filed 8/03, approved 8/04. 485 filed 1/29/04. When should I expect FP notice?
 
Ok FP Done

Got FP notice on 9/9 with appt on 9/8. Went the following week and got the FP done. Also got an email from USCIS

"On September 20, 2004, the results of your fingerprint review for your I485 Application to Register Permanent Residence or to Adjust Status were received, and processing has resumed on your case. We will mail you a notice if further action is needed, or when a decision is made."

any July 03 waiting for FP1

any July03 - 485 RD waiting for FP1.
I haven't recd it yet. do I need to do something to get FP notice.
 
I am in same boat. It looks like some people receive FP notice in one month of filing 485. Others receive it after 1-2 years !!??
I am totally confused. Someone please help me understand the situation.

My lawyer got fingerprint notice a few days ago. But I have not got it.
Can I ask for a copy of the notice from the lawyer and use it for fingerprint? Or have to call CIS center to re-issue the notice?
Please help. thanks.
 
I also did not get a copy of the notice.My lawyer sent it to me and I am planning to go tomorrow with the courtesy copy.Lets see how it goes.I will post my experience tomorrow.

I485 ND 10/29/03, get early FP done in different location

I've got fp notice for both myself and my wife on oct 21, 2004 in newark, NJ but since I've already moved to california, I just went to Pomona ASC in CA on sept 17, 2004 for early finger print. I told them that we've moved and already filed an address change with uscis. I asked the lady if we could have an early finger print done. She said no problem and she just looked at the passport and took the fp notice. It's so easy and only took 10 minutes to do the finger print.
