fingerprinting for rtd

when you apply to renew Rtd do they requird to do fingerprinting or they will issue you one without fingerprints.when they issued me first rtd i don't remember if i went for fingerprinting.
 
i applied for RP travel document on oct 27 2008, few days ago i got apppointment letter for fingerprinting, scheduled on nov 14,

you will need to do fingerprinting
 
thanks for your replies.but this is not new application they sent me one last year in nov 2007 .but status was never updated online .almost for year it was showing pending.once processing dates went past my recipt date i called them .now after 1.5 months since i called them online status has been changed to mail to me in nov 2007 .but i never got one in mail.now they asked me to apply again.do think they will still ask for bio's.problem is this i work 7am to 7pm in weekdays there is no way i can even get a day off for another few months .is there any way i can ask them to waive bio.thanks again for ur help.
 
So now you gotta take fingerprints for RTD or RP valid for 1-2 years?
I don't remmember if they took my fingerprints couple years ago when I was applying for RTD. That's sucks.:mad:
 
i was checking my files too .i did not see any letter for bio's.sinece i got asylum i only went once for bio.i think that was for work permit.but this time i m appliing for rtd not rp.
 
hi any one there who went for fingerprints or got notice for rtd ? if yes after how long they sent notice.pls share ur exprience.
