Fingerprint Procedure?

Are they taking away the original USCIS Fingerprint Notification at the time of fingerprinting?

They gave it back to me. (they stamped it a bunch, though)

Someone mentioned that they took his notice. If they take notice, are they providing some kind of receipt? Proof that we appeared and that they took fingerprints?

They stamped and returned mine as well. If your DO insists on keeping it I would request a receipt.

Additionally, keep a photocopy of your FP notice with you so that you have something for your own reference.
