Finger prints given in 2nd week of December still the INS automatic answering machine says pending for approval. I had driving tickets(which I got in december) pending in the court and the court hearing is (pending)scheduled next month. Does this situation hinder my FP approval(As a case is pending in the court)? One of my collegue who gave the FP in december got them approved in 1st week of january. Any feedback of experiences in this matter will be really helpful and greatly appreciated

Not serious .............

Driving tickets are not considered a serious offense, atleast if you don\'t have too many over a long period of time. DUI (Driving under the influence of.....) , Driving without insurance and Hit and run are some of the offenses which are really serious. If you have a court appearance, you should appear in court and do whatever the court directs you to do. Probably you will have to take some special driving courses/tests etc. As always, if in doubt, consult with a lawyer.
