Hi all,
I went to the San Jose (Story Road) office today. My experience was
excellent. I was in and out in less then 10 minutes. I reached there @
2:15pm and was the ONLY person in the office for Finger Printing. I did
see some people sitting in the waiting area, but the FP booths were
empty. As soon as a token was assigned, another lady came and took me
to the booth and took my finger prints. I was asked to moist my hands
with some moisturize before the FP. After taking the prints of all my
fingers, a supervisor came and checked my prints. She validated it and
that was it. The whole process of taking the prints took about 5
minutes. I was out of there by 2:25. The people were friendly, service
was excellent and the process was smooth. I just hope FBI/INS don\'t
reject my FPs for some other stupid reason.
My details:
WAC 01-141-xxxxx
RD: 03/05/01 ND: 03/27/01
Last Name: "R"
PD: 04/1997 (EB3/India)
FP Notice received in mail: 10/06/01
FP date scheduled on the notice: 10/31/01
FP actually done on: 10/09/01
Center: San Jose, CA
BTW, my wife still hasn\'t received her FP Notice. Once she receives it,
she will have to go through this process too. Hopefully that will be in
the days to come.
Thanks to all for your valuable input.

PS: Ciba, Could you please post this on your FP experience thread of
