Finger print notification

I-485 ND - 07/03 and still have not received the FP notification. Anybody in the same boat?

Also, I am planning to travel in February and will be out of US for a month. If I receive notification during this month to appear for the finger print, will it be an issue if I don't appear? Can I come back and appear in another date? What are the alternatives? Your ideas and suggestions are appreciated.

They generally send the FP notification about a
month prior to the scheduled date. They also
give you the option to re-schedule. If any of your
friends/relatives have access to your mail,
they can reschedule the appointment date, if
the notification comes in your absence.

A friend of mine who filed 6 months later than me also got the FP notice last week. I don't see much of a trend in when FP notices are sent, maybe they just wanted to show activity for people with 485 pending for more than a year Oh! these guys are complaining too much, we should send some FP notices!
