Why did you feel it necessary to make it a personal attack. I\'ve seen HUNDREDS on I-140 approval notices and I don\'t recall a single one that had an A number on it.
But, let\'s go back to basics. An "A" number is an Alien Registration number and it does not change once it is assigned. The only way that an "A" number would be indicated on the I-140 approval notice is if it had ALREADY been assigned to that alien. Typically, "A" numbers are assigned when an alien applies for AOS, CP or when a person enters removal proceedings.
This also explains Jaxen\'s post and why TSC "sometimes" lists A numbers on I-140 approval notices and why the same A number was reflected on the I-485 receipt notice. The alien in question here apparently ALREADY had an A number for some reason.
