Filing singley

Hi,
I have recently filed my I-751 singley with Vermont as I am now divorced. Just wanted to know if anyone has any experience of filing singley. What I wanted to know was; Does the whole process take longer if you file singley? and will I definitely be called for an interview? Many thanks.

columbo,

I, too, have filed singularly due to divorce. If one isn't called for an interview or asked for RFE, it's *supposed* to take the same length of a normal I-751. But alot get called for an interview. Ofcourse things get more complicated when the ex-USC-spouse make it complicated. So it really depends.. I know of one case when the applicant got approved with a waiver with as little as 6 weeks.

My sketchy memory does not recall seeing an instance on this forum where an interview was waived for someone filing a non-joint I-751

This forum isn't the whole wide world of immigration forums. You can't just deny the existence of something just because you've never seen it and didnt attempt to look for it,

So just because you don't see a case without an interview, the interview becomes a requirement :D

Just to mention a few..
