Hi,

I changed my employer after 180 days of filing I-485.

Now my Advance parole is expiring in June.

My Attoney of Old employer is not co-operating.In these circumstances, can I file I-131 on my own? or Is it better to go with some Lawer?..if so, Please suggest a good lawer for VSC..

Thanks in advance

Of course you can file I-131 on your own. You do not need any lawyer.

File AP directly, fill up the form I-131, pay the USCIS fees $110 (if you are sending application after April 30 then add $55 extra, fee is going to increase on April 30) attach copy of I-485, 2 photographs, attach the copy of past AP, if have I-140 copy attach the copy, write any reason for AP like visiting parents or vacations (they don’t care for the reason)
and on cover letter write what you have attached, sign the cover letter with you name and address on it
If your service center is NSC or VSC then also attach the Color copy of your driving license and color copy of the first page of passport that has your name, DOB and photo on it and mail the envelope to your service center out side the envelope write in Big bold letter: Form I-131 for Advance parole
