filing i-130/i-485 - effect on TN visa

Hi,
My husband is from Canada on TN visa. He is currently working. I just wanted to double check that he can continue working once we file i-130/i-485 forms. He won't be out of status, right?

He will remain able to work until the TN expires. Please note that he will be unable to re-enter the US using the TN if he leaves, and unable to work legally after the TN expires. Have you applied for an EAD and AP?
 
Your husband will not fall out of status upon submitting I-130/I-485. As long as his TN I-94 is valid he can continue to work at the same place. However if he intends to travel, he needs an I-131 to return. Upon return he will be a parolee and thus needs an I-765 to work.
