Filing for EAD Extension

I am planning to file for my EAD by myself. Where should I file, should i file in vermont or in local office in newark. Its an Extension. I have not yet used my first EAD which is about to expire in Nov.

One more thing, what status i am in --- H1B or EAD as my H1 expired on 14th April and have requested an extension on 11th April.

You can file with local service center only if your case is pendiong there.
your status is I485 adjsutee- h1 extension pending (i.e. dual). Once you start using EAD (file i-9) you will be I485 adjsutee.

so should i first file I-9 or just file EAD I 765 extension in Vermont with I 485 reciept notice

if you want to use EAD. I dont understand why you keep on harping about using EAD? Your pending h1 extension is by itself a valid authorization for employment.
I understand the contingency of applying for EAD extension, but it is not necessary to "use" EAD in order for you to extend it.

Can I apply at newark district office EAD. AS I understand its possible to file AP/EAD at local INS Office

only if it's extension or renewal?

So there is no harm in just extending the EAD. I know there is no requirement of using EAD to extend it.

But VSC is asking for copy of I 94 along with other documents like
1> I 765
2> 2 phootgrpahs
3> I 485 reciept
4> EAD copies ( FRont and Back)
5> I 94 ( FRont and Back)
6> $$$$120$$$$$

Will sending copies of expired I 94 be a problem

I am planning to send the parcel on Monday, first thing

Jaxen, Filled EAD 765

Hi,

Just mailed all the documents to VSC for extension/renewal of EAD form I 765.

Let's see how long i have to wait.

Still waiting for H1/H4 extension for me and my wife -- filled on April 11th this year.

Got EAD Reciept

Got a call from my wifeyyyyy.

recieved EAD recipt... I had send my papers on Last Tuesday

Still have to find out about the RD and ND

Cheque is not cleared yet

Current Status: Card Order Sent To ICF

On September 27, 2002, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Processing normally takes between 60 and 90 days. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

Current Status: Approval Notice Sent

RD september 17

approval date 28th sept

did it myself.... no probs

saved tons i guess.. just send 2 phots($12) cheque($120) and copies and stamps a few dollars

more later
