File I-130 petition for brother while he is visiting temporarily

I'm a U.S. citizen. My brother is on his temporary visitor's visa and plans to return after a short visit. If I file I-130 for his immigration during his visit, will it affect his temporary visit?

FYI, on I-130 form, there is an item "Arrival/Departure Record (I-94)". I'll need to fill in his I-94 info on this form.

Another question: Will filling in his I-94 info on the I-130 form cause any trouble if in the future he wants to apply for a temporary visitor's visa (at an overseas U.S. consulate), because they will see that I've filed I-130 for him?

No, it won't affect his visit in any ways. And yes, most probably he won't be able to get visitor visa after you file for him.

When he applies for a visitor's visa in the future, will the consulate know that he has an immigration petition pending?

I may be wrong (I didn't file any visa forms for VERY long time :) ) but I believe there is a question about it in form. If he'll lie and they find out about it - he'll be in BIG trouble. If he'll say the truth - he'll be refused with visa. I do remember people from my country came up with the same questions (on my language forum), and that's what the local lawyers explained them.

he may or may not be refused a visa if he tells the truth. If he lies, he will be banned from the US for life.

What will happend to his previous b1 / b2 visa ?

I have same question.

My brother has B1 visa and now if I file for his I 130 .. will he able to travel USA ? or it will be cancelled automatecally ?
