Few questions about Parents & Sibling GC

My sister just received her GC last month. Was wondering if me and parents were eligible to apply for GC through her.

Friend of mine told me she has to be Citizen for it before we can apply for GC. Also, if I go through Sibling GC it takes about 8-10 years; but I she does my parents GC first, it takes about 2-3 years. Then my parents can appl for my GC.

Not sure how correct this info is, just need more details.

btw I'm 21+.

Your sister first needs to become a citizen before she can sponsor your parents or you.
Your parents should get their GCs within a year after she becomes a citizen and then sponsors them. Your parents can sponsor you after they get their GCs and move to the US. That category is also heavily over-susbscribed. Currently 6.5 years behind. So even in that case you are looking at 5+1+6 years bare minimum.
