Hi All,

I am filling for AoS for my wife, but stuck with few minor details. I want to double check that everything is right and all entries are correct. I will appreciate answers to my questions.

1)In form I-485, I need to write my wife's visa expiry date or I-94 expiry date in part 1? It says expires on...... but I am not sure they are asking for visa expiry or I-94 expiry.

2)My wife is here in US on B2, so in form I-485; do I need to check box (a) for Part 2 ? It says , “ An immigrant petition giving me an immediately available immigrant visa number visa number. (Attach a copy of the approval notice, or a relative, special immigrant juvenile, or special immigrant military visa petition filed with this application that will give you an immediately available visa number, if approved.)

3) In I-485 part 3(b), I am confused for A#. What number I need to write in here. I am a USC. Is it the number mentioned on my Naturalization certificate? Is Alien Registration number is same as CIS number? What I need to mention where Alien Registration number is asked ( I-130 section B part 10)

4) In I-130 in section C part 22, What I need to fill reagrding applying abroad at the American consulate, if relative is not eligible for AoS? She is in US. I have written N/A. Is that ok?

5) In I-130 Section D, part 2, " Have you ever filed a petition for this or any other alien?" I am divorced. My ex came here on H4, got green card through my employment. What shall I need to check, yes or no?

6) Form 325A, asks " This form is submitted in connection with an application for....". for my wife it is "Status as Permanent Resident" but in my form is it going to be same or I need to write " other--Status as Permanent Resident for wife" ?

Thanks in Advance

A1: I-94 expiry
A2: Yes, check that box
A3: Your A# which should be on your naturalisation certificate
A4: N/A is fine
A5: You never filed an I-130 for your ex-wife. She got a GC because of your I-140.
A6: You can write "sponsoring my spouse" for your G-325A

Kind attn Triple Citizen

G 325a for the US Citizen -should it not be : This form is submitted in connection with an application for:
Status as Permanent Resident

There is no provision to add here any written matter like" for spouse'

Written matter can only be added in "Other (Specify)"

This would be different from the beneficiary G 325a and would you not think it better to be safe and check the same box in both Petitioner and Beneficiary G 325a?

Would you suggest adding-"for spouse" in pen?
