Does the filing fees for I-485, EAD, AP , FP have to be separate money orders or can it be one consolidated one ?

You can give in one check

The payment doesn\'t have to be money order. You can pay by your personal check. The advantage by paying personal check is, when
the check gets cleared, you can know the receipt # from this check
when you get it from the bank.

I thought personal checks were not accepted. So is it better to use a check instead of money order ?

I used one personal check for 485+EAD+AP+FP for both of us (myself and spouse) and it was encashed and I got receipts also.

I gave only one check for 485,FP and EAD. Check got encashed and my EAD is approved.
