My case was created on 11/14/2001. You are correct. If P3 entered in the consulate system before 20th Dec, you should get Feb 2002 interview.

NVC sent packet3 to NewDelhi on 11/13

And, my lawyer sent packet3 to the consulate
on 11/26.. traced the tracking number and it
reached there on 12/01.

Not sure, how many days they are taking to enter
the information into the system.

Not many CP\'ers for Feb interview at New Delhi ????

My Packet III will be sent to Delhi Consulate tomorrow. I hope to go in Feb.

My case NIW approved in 2001 with PD Feb 1999. NVC approved in July. I filed for NIW in July of 1998. Hope no more delays and problems. I had my share.
 
What is the significance of Dec 20.

Is is like Christmas Break will extend till first week of Jan henceforth delay in interview

Should we request for packet IV at Delhi address or USA address?. is there any fax No. to fax packet III?Thanks

Wait till 10th. then call New Delhi consulate to make sure they enter your info.

You can request packet IV at Delhi or US, wherever u feel comfortable.

No. Packet 3 should be sent by mail/ fedex/ hand delivery.
 
Applied today PCC in Indian embassy

Cost: $20+$11; If passport issued in India.
Time: 45 days
Documents: 1. Misc Application Form
           2. Copy of passport

Cost: $11; If passport issued in US.
Time: 30 days
Documents: Same as above

PCC in two weeks

My PCC came in two weeks from Washington Embassy. It is simply a letter. It doesn\'t even say it is PCC.

Is your passport issued from India or US? When did you apply for PCC?
Can you post format of PCC? It will he helpful for all of us. Is it on Cosulate/ Local Police office letter head?

DC they charge $11.00 for PCC and $20.00 for Telex.(for passport issued in India).

The good part in NY they give the PCC same day in the evening for passport issued in US.
Let us know when you receive PCC.

I will deeply appreciate if you may give me the fax no. of Delhi Consulate. Somehow I couldn\'t find from Delhi Thread. You all are real great support. If I had known about you, I would have saved 4-5 months. Thanks for the thread
