Approved I140

Just checked my status online - it changed this morning. My case has been approved on March 3rd 2006. The receipt of approval was mailed the same day. Please update the tracker and good luck to everyone!!!

Whats the date your labor was approved?. Is yours a 3 yr or 4 yr degree.

A quick question. When you register to check case status, I see 2 options: Customer and Representative. Which is the right option to register with?

My labor was approved December 20th, 2005. 4 Year degree.

Question

Hi -

My employer got my labor approval letter from DBEC (its been 3 weeks), but my attorney didn’t get the approval package along with ETA-750 forms. In this case can I proceed further with I140?? Can I file my I140 without original documents??? What should I do to get the original documents from DBEC?? Is anybody encountered the same situation??? I appreciate your valuable suggestions.

Thank you Shiva and everybody.

I think, I should wait till the retrogression date reaches my priority date or retrogression dates become current . May be it will take another year for that. One of my collegues told me that it should not be that much wait(He is a I485 forum user). But he told me to complete some pre I 485 stuff like :

1. DOB certificates for both myself and my wife.
2. Some medicals
3. Have all original educational credentials
etc...

Since I do not have a birth certificate with me, I have to ask my local municipal corp to send me one (They have a web site for such requests). If not available with them, I need to get an affidavit.

Friends - Please let me know if I am missing any thing in the above lines.

Congrats.... Hope it will not be a long wait for your 485. Was there an LUD change in your case, before it got approved?... Did you get the approval notice, or your attorney?. When was your labor approved?

I-140 approved

All,

My I-140 is approved. Just got the email from USCIS saying my I-140 is approved, MY LUD was not touched till today, It was approved on March 7th 2006.

Mine is EB3, 3 year degree from India.

I will be available in this forum to answer any of your questions, I will pray for the folks out here waiting.
