February 2006 tracker (I-140 NSC)

LUDs on 140 & 485

The LUDs for all my application (140/485/765/131) have changed today but the status message is still the same and no emails. Reading from previous posts, when your 140 and 485 LUDs change together there is a lot of chances of denial.
Please share your experience.

can we apply 485 now ?

u said u applied for 485 in febuary. but i heard, for 485 till they become current you cant apply, how did u apply then?
 
I have this I140 approval notice that both my employer and attorney got, I also got a courtesy copy, however the status check on the INS website still says that "....it is taking between 150 and 180 days ......." and is not updated since the RD . Is it like this for anyone else ?

Have you received the courtesy copy from USCIS?
 
My employer did and he gave it to me. The attorney got the original approval . Maybe the INS tracking site is inaccurate ....

The webpage is quite confusing sometime and has delays. I believe the mail notice your employer and attorney got is much more accurate. You should be happy, and don't worry too much. Good luck.

Whatz LUD?

Sorry for sounding Naive. What is LUD and what do you mean by LUD Change? Can somebody briefly expain?
 
LIN No.

Some body above asked how to get LIN no. If you have paid the $195.00 fee then this check has the LIN printed on the back. I got my this way by checking the image of the deposited check on my banks website, and could check the status against it on USCIS website. Guess what my case is approved, got email notification today, it was received 2/9. sounds fast right? Thanks and goodluck......

I was looking for ways to get LIN# or status check in absence of LIN#. My employer is compensated bu sends company checks to all involved authorities. Smart move.

Congrats!. Can any one tell me how many days would it take to get a Receipt from USCIS? mine was received at Nebraska(NOT efiled) on Feb'15th but haven't got a receipt yet.

I'm not sure if anyone has replied to you yet. But here goes it again: when you track your case on the USCIS website there is a column for "Last Updated" with a date underneath, which is referred to as LUD. When that date changes, it tells you that something significant has happened to your case - for example it might have passed on from an initial reviewer to a supervisor or an RFE might have been issued or better yet your case has been approved on that date.

Thanks Maggu. I think my Last Update Date is 02/15/2006. Received on 2/13/2006. Not sure what they could have done in 2 days. May be an RFE is on the way. :confused:
