Early FP done in SFO

Went early for 2nd FP to SFO althou our scheduled date was in the last week of June.
There weren't too many people and we were let in because according to the officer there, Saturday is a makeup FP day.

did my 2nd FP 1 week ago,and FBI told me thet return the results

to INS in the same day, but my status in INS website did not change, any one in the same boat??

Don't trust the online status 100%.

I did my FP 2 months ago. FBI told me they returned the results to INS the same day, but online status still says "On February 27, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting that you appear for fingerprint recording..."
 
Have you guys sent inquiries or call IIO yet?

Second FP notice

Hi People,
I and my spouse received second FP notice which is due on 16th June 2004, i did mine, but my wife is in India and she will be back by 10th july, is it okay if spouse goes for the second FP when she gets back on 10th july, or she needs to inform to INS.
As per my lawyer he says , "15 - 20 days of delay from the scheduled date for FP is okay" and she can go on 10th july for second FP, and no need to inform INS to re-schedule, as re-scheduling can again take several days or couple of months.
Also will this delay of my spouse second FP delays our GC process.
Please advise,

got another FP notice. I did my 2nd FP in May 21, and the website shows the FP result is received on May 28. But they ask me to do it again!! This really pisses me off.

Same here. did 2nd FP on 21st, process resumed on 28th May, received another FP notice last week. Went to San Jose ASC and told these guys. They took my papers to their officer, she did something for 15 minute, came out and said I was done. No need for another FP. Came home happy.

CHeck the thread you started.

There r few comments on the same.
I went to ASC in person. I was told that FP notice is godd for 82 days. Even my lawyer acknowledged that there is a rule like that, but not all the service centers will apply that. Most importantnly they wre caught off guard and had to ask around to confirm my findings.
Anyways, rescheduling is safer. but you can take chance by talking to your lawyer first and getting all the possible information.

I had sent a fax last week. I am not sure if that triggered it.


On June 16, 2004, we mailed a notice requesting additional evidence or information in this case.

I just scan the 02-113-series, and found yesterday (june 16th):

1. 8 approvals.
2. 2 transfer to LA
3. 2 Refs.

my case is still not touch :(
