Fammily based GC

Hi
my brother is a US citizen and is interested in sponsoring my gc on family based.
presently I am working in US on TN visa.My employers' client is also interested in hiring me as a full time?
which option should I be taking
a. TN to GC through employer
b. through family based GC
I frequently travel to canada to visit my family . will it cause any problem after applying for GC through my brother.
Pls advise.

The family sponsorship of brothers takes too long, and your TN might be jeopardized in the meantime.

Your best option is employment based.

You are years from GC, so I woudl not be worried about trivial details like travel.

It would probably be dependent on your job classification. TN's are professionals, would you qualify to get an H1-B? What EB immigrant visa classification would you fall into?

The family 4th preference is listed as current for those filed in Jan 2000, on the current Visa Bulletin (11+ year wait). Employment based would be faster...only EB-3 has a wait time for Canadians (6 or 8 years) the others are current and you'd probably fall into ?EB-2? It depends on qualifications.
