Hi Guys,

I recently heard that when you are granted asylum, then when your parents want to come and visit you ,the embassy will refuse to give the visa,Is it true. And is there any way to help any of your family member visit you since you cannot go back to your CP.
It really frustrate me because they are just kind of seperating you from your family ,instead of uniting.
Does anyone has an idea or has been a victim and how did you do????????????????

Mark. I need to know that too....

what about now that you are an asylee, because i know some poeple who are asylees and they refused the visa to thier parents because he was granted asylum

You're asking the same question again. My grandparents visited our family when we were asylees. I think you misunderstood my answer because I used the word "before." I meant, before NOW. Whoever visits will have to satisfy the same requirements whether or not they are visiting asylees, namely, that they have ties to their home country, and will not immigrate.
