F1 Visa rejected, Need Help...

Hi, this is Vandana, i have urgent question regarding F1 visa interview, please help

Dear Friends,

This is Vandana. I went for f1 visa today(06/08/2009) to chennai consulate and was rejected.

My experience (CHENNAI Consulate)

Me: I showed my I20
Visa Officer(VO): He asked me abt the US Univ.
Me: Replied
VO: How many backlogs did you have.
Me: I said 9
VO: Whats your GRE and Toefl score
Me: 924 and 80
VO: What is your father doing
ME: Sports coach
VO: What is his annual income
ME: 4 lakhs
VO: He said Sorry and rejected me appln: Rejected saying insufficient funds

More insight:
I showed about 50 lakhs of liquid cash(bank statements), 1.5 crores of property. But he did not even see those statements. My mom is working as a teacher

I20 mentions 24 USD for 2 years;

I was 6th in line and all the 5 guys before me were also rejected..

Question:
What are my chances if i try again;
should i show some other documents.
Should i show more funds. I donno please help...

If i go second time; what should i say - as of why am i here, What between now and then???

which university did you go for? And what was the 2 years tuition+living expenses in the I20? did you have any funding from the university you went for stamping?

You can go for appeal. (Second Interview).

But most of the cases Sr Counsel read the previous Vice Councel notes, but 99% will get denied unless you are extremely lucky. (here you money not going to help you as VC judged as you are a potential immigrant.

Which university, is it reputable or a name sake university.??
