F1 transfer confusion

Hi,
I am currently on a F1 visa for Univ A, and have applied for a transfer to Univ B and have been accepted and will be starting there this Fall. I heard my friend say that if i travel to India during the summer next yr, i would have to apply for a new F1 visa to come back to the US. Is that so? can anyone help me out in this?

i think there will be no problem if u have a valid visa , because people change keeping there schools and it not a problem .
but who knows

you can use the old valid visa with a new I-20. No problem.
