F1 to B1 to H1. B1 rejected. Please Help

I will try to keep it very short.

My OPT expired on June 30. I filed for change in status for B1/B2 on April 15. I received a letter from INS/CIS saying that my B1/B2 application has been denied and I should make arrangements to leave the country immediately (denial date July 14). Is there any specific time frame by which I must leave the U.S.?

For H1: Should I go back to India first and then asked the sponsor to apply for H1 or should I request the company to apply now? Should I file for premium processing?

Please advice what should I do to stay legally?

If INS receive my H1 petition by July 30 can I legally stay in the U.S. till Oct 1 inspite of the fact that my B1/B2 has been rejected and my OPT has expired?
