I am currently on OPT and it expires mid-August. I currently don't have a job and am looking for one. Will the 20-odd day gap in my status be an issue for employers ?
Do I even need to mention it before I start working ?
Is it possible to apply for the additional 20000 quota and get the visa before my OPT expires ?

before Aug 2005, 20,000 addl h1 for the year 2005 will be effective. Concentrate on getting a job before that.
