F1-H4 problem for my wife!!!Please respond

Hi guys,

I recently changed my status from F1 to H1b with validity dates from oct 2004-sep2007. My wife is also in the F1 status but plans to travel to India along with me. Is it possible to get the H1 stamping for me (i have all the necessary documents) as well as convert my wife to H4, since she is left with only 1 semester and she does not plan to take up assistantship or work during that period. Please respond, will she have any problems if she converts from F1 to H4 before she completes her studies.
 
Getting H1 will not be a problem. H4 might be a problem, unless she has graduated moving to H4 is a risk at a US consulate.
 
jaxen, how sure are you on this? Once she has finished Graduation, she needs to go back to home country , thereby fulfulling F1 's promise to go back. After few days Apply for H4 . Is that what are you suggesting? Any experience member , Please reply. I am also in same situation.
