F1 expired OPT expired, Can I study?

I am interested to study more in US.
I just graduated last year. Now I live in US and my F-1 visa just expired (May 2005).
I had an OPT that just expired on May 31,2005.
Can I apply for the course without going back to my country?
I heard that I can continue study with even my F-1 visa has expired.
Is there any way to do in this case?

well, you are out of status now. If you continue to study, you will still be out of status, and will not be able to change it. Since it has been less than 5 months, you can still apply for reinstatement of F-1 status. The school you are applying to can help you. Otherwise, you will remain out of status and even accumulate illegal presense in some cases.
