Hi,

First of all TIA for any help. I will also contribute as much as I can.

Here's my situation -

1. I did my B.S. in the US at a decent state university. I never went for OPT after graduating and decided to do Master's.

2. I'm now doing my Master's at another state university starting Jan'08.

3. Right now, I'm on CPT till December'08 (6 months CPT starting July'08)

4. The company(non-profit) is interested in me and wants to file for H1 Non-Profit. So, I won't have to worry about quota etc.

So - Can I switch from F1-CPT to H1 without completing my Master's courses since I already did my Bachelor's here in the US?

Only an institution of higher education, a related or affiliated nonprofit entity, a nonprofit research organization, or a governmental research organization is exempt from the quota. Other non-profit institutions are subject to the quota.
