F Visa Renewal

Hi,

I am a PhD student (Indian national) on F1 visa. My wife came here as a dependant. Our visa expires on the 25th Dec 2005, but my I-20 is valid upto 2007.
Now my wife has to go to India and might have to stay until Jan 2006. Can she renew her visa with her dependant I-20? I cannot accompany her to India during this trip.

Any response is greatly greatly appreciated.

yes, she can. She needs to have her I-20 signed by her International advisor before she leaves.
