F-1 Student to Fiance Visa

I am currently with an F-1 student in New York and will be getting engaged soon. What should I do to enable the quickest process for her to eventually get a green card. She would like to work soon when we graduate in May. So, waiting until we get married would take too long, and we would also like to not have to get married in only 90 days time, like the Fiance visas for out of US immigrants. Any help?

The million dollar question is, are you a US citizen? If you are, marry her and she files for adjustment of status. A K-1 visa does not apply to your situation as she is already in the US.

so what if let say.. a girl is here on a visit visa.. and then she gets enagged to a USC. can she just apply for Adjustment while being here.. or that is not possible.....

ofcourse this is made up, why I ask is that my fiance has a 5 yrs multiple.. so i was thinking maybe i could apply for her AOS while shes here, so she can stay here until the process is complete.

Research this since it has been discussed multiple number of times. Bottom line is "intent upon entry". USCIS does not like it when people enter the US on non-immigrant visas with the intent to adjust status. Do you want to arouse their suspicion? You both are already engaged. You will have a hard time convincing USCIS that she entered with no intentions to adjust status and you both married at the spur of a moment. Stick with the K-1 route in my opinion. I came that route and strongly advocate it.
