Hello,
My h1b visa and i-94 is expiring on Dec 1st 2006. My company has applied for extension after my first 3 year term. I have not yet got the approvel. RD for i797 is Sept 26th.

I have an approved i140.

My company HR says since we have applied for h1 extension, irrespective of my i94 I can continue staying. Is it true, that I can continue staying or I have to go by Dec 1st..

Please clarify. I searched online and could not get answer to this specific q.

Thanks,
Naren.

Thanks Gins

Hello,
Thank you Ginnu. Am a little relieved. Anyways, I am sure the attorney also has not received the approval as yet, because I check on BCIS site for my WAC #.
Also I have setup email triggers to see change of case status.

Wow However I am impressed with your number of posts on this site. Thanks for helping so many and all the best.

Cheers,
N. :p

Just curious where are you in the process?
