Hi:

I did BS in US and now doing MS. I wanted to know that if I get my H1B approved from a consulatancy on the basis of BS degree. And meanwhile complete MS online while I work on H1.

Can I apply GC or PR based on EB2 quota? or I shud comlpete MS and then get H1 B in masters quota to apply for GC/PR in EB2. inshort: can there be problems applying in Eb2 if i get H1 on basis of BS only?

Having Master degree alone is not enough to EB2, Your job duty in the application must require you EB2 skill/experience and you need to have skill to fulfill the written job duty(MS+0 year or BS+5).
Having a H1 job requring BS itself won't prevent you from applying for EB2, as long as job duty for GC application is for MS.
H1 job and GC job are not necessary the same.

Hey thanks for the reply.......ok that sounds good...that means I shud find a company..ASAP to get H1 approved on BS only...then I can find job and transfer H1 to new company. Continue MS.....

THis just sounds better than doing MS, working on OPT and then applying for H1...i think it is better to have H1 before. What do u guys think?
