Hi folks
I went to Mexico City for my spring break, Mexico is not my COP, and I am AS8 with renewed NP, so what I am going to share is the experience on my way back, my POE is Houston-IAH
The officer is a very young Hispanic guy (even younger than me, I guess), he swiped my card and ask how long I was out of country and what for, he typed something on his keyboard for a while and than stamped my NP with "ARC" and say" welcome back" the whole process took about 3 minutes, and he was friendly.
this is my first time travel aboard with my GC, and I have heard from my friend that GC needs to be activated for the first time so the next time the officer will not have to do the keyboard typing, is this true?!
And my point is don't bother RTD if you can get your NP renewed

Does anybody know what "ARC" stands for?
and how young are you Double_V? :D

WHat is your COP ??

Im pretty sure as an AS8 you wont get any trouble at POE even if you visit COP. In fact, i did visit COP and not even 2 minutes took the IO to stamp my NP with the ARC letters on it.

Good luck and keep enjoying spring breaks...
