Expediting Citizenship application process

Citizenship application time line
I sent my application on 25-June-2007
1. Received acknowledgment first week of August.
2. 25-Sept-2007, it says that, Processing, and application is sent to Local office (Edmonton).
Anybody has the details of Edmonton office. How long they are taking to respond for test and oath etc.

You want CIC to expedite your citizenship so that you can leave Canada? Think about it!!!

What tripple citizen is talking about is correct. You cannot expedite the process for the purposes that you outlined.
The fact that you have good job offers is your own personal matter, and this fact is not in national but in your own personal interest.
Why would the government grant citizenship to you (who will soon leave the country and won't pay taxes anymore) sooner than another person who intends to stay in Canada (and thus pay taxes)?
I understand Chal that the process takes time, but you'll have to wait like everyone else. And I mean it in a good way. It may take a bit longer in Alberta to get the whole thing done, but that's life.
