Expedite criteria and financial loss

Under USCIS Expedite Criteria one of the points is "Severe financial loss to company or individual"

USCIS support line has no clue what it is...
Any info on what is considered Severe financial loss to... individual?
 
Thousands on this forum are suffering from severe financial losses due to non-expedited GC processing.

Severe financial loss is relative and depends to great extent on the person who will decide if this is severe or not. There is no criteria or limit the USCIS determined for that. If you think this delay is making severe loss to you which may be very little for other, just claim that and try to show evidence to prove your claim. For example one person with pending GC applied for grant with the Department of Defence (375,000$), the grant was denied mostly because the applicant is not a citizen or GC holder, that person claim that the delay made severe financial loss to him and so on.
